President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, Begins Visit to Aghstafa

Baku – APA. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has begun a visit to Agstafa district.

The head of state paid tribute to the monument to Heydar Aliyev erected in downtown Aghstafa, APA reported.

Agstafa’s head of district executive power Maharram Guliyev informed the president about the reconstruction and renovation works as well as the installation of new lighting system.

President Ilham Aliyev was then acquainted with the conditions created atHeydar Aliyev Center, which has been fundamentally reconstructed.

A 400-seat assembly hall is equipped with modern acoustics to host district-scale events. The center has halls for wedding ceremonies, architecture, art, advertising, and weaving. In addition, it has distance education, ecotourism, children’s art and information centers, dance studio, art gallery, language courses, a small cinema hall, as well as 30- and 70-seat conference halls.
