Kanye West Health Update: Rapper Enjoys Bike Ride With Friends Following Alleged Breakdown

Kanye West was spotted Friday enjoying a midday bike ride with a few close friends in Los Angeles just days after he was released from hospital following his treatment for alleged mental breakdown. The 39-year-old rapper was admitted to UCLA Medical Center last month for psychiatric evaluation after he acted “erratically.”

Kim Kardashian’s husband kept a low profile during the outing, sporting a tinted helmet, an all-black sweatsuit and a pair of his yet-to-be released Yeezy Boosts, E! News reported. His outing came a day after he made his first public appearance post hospitalization to attend an art preview held at the MOCA Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood on Thursday.

A source told E! News that two bodyguards trailed West, one on a bike and the other in a car, while he rode around for about 30 minutes. The “Famous” singer was also seen wearing his wedding band.

Over the last few days, rumors surfaced that West and his wife are going through some marital troubles and are also planning to get a divorce.

“Kanye is going to be fine. And he and Kim are strong. Just because the paparazzi don’t see him, they’re like, ‘Oh, Kanye’s not with Kim anymore.’ That’s bulls—,” another source told E! News.

Kardashian’s close friend Jonathan Cheban also shot down divorce rumors saying that he had a FaceTime chat with the couple.

The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has been by her husband’s side since his hospitalization. West has been in a fragile state following his alleged breakdown, requiring medical and psychological help to return to good health.

“[Kanye] will remain getting outpatient treatment until he is fully recovered. Kim wants him to continue getting therapy even after all of this. He has support from so many people,” a third source told E! News.
