Greek Police and Military Personnel Join Protest Over Slashing Salaries

As protests continue over cutting salary and employment, on Wednesday personnel from the Greek military and police also got in on the action, staging their own protest outside of the General Accounts Office in Athens.

They said that they are protesting over cuts to their salaries and are requesting a meeting with the Alternative Minister of Finance, Giorgos Chouliarakis.

There is no word if their demands have been met and if a meeting will take place.

Various union groups have been protesting this past week all over the country in objection to labor reforms, austerity measures and pay cuts by the government.
